This trail is always a pleasure — a stroll in the cool of the shade along the Sorgue, past lots of beautiful old houses.
Local folk enjoy doing as the tourists do - settling down for a waterside picnic, feeding the ducks a few crumbs. They are not shy.
Down the road, you'll find the Watershed, from where canoes coming down the river of Fontaine de Vaucluse can be hired. A good meal at the Guinguette is a must - try the “Hamburguette” the house speciality. All products are local and organic.
It's a fabulous place - perfect for relaxing.
As a bonus, on the way back, we come across a friendly little water rat - we're not the only ones enjoying the freshness of the Sorgue!
